Activities of the Task Groups
At the outset of the new association, the board of directors proposed a framework of Task Groups, each dedicated to a critical industry issue with which Aqua Europa must be concerned for the future wellbeing of its members.

| Task: | To consider all aspects of hygiene in drinking water and in particular to develop Aqua Europa Position Papers on Legionella and Pseudomonas, and perhaps Cryptosporidium. |

| Task: | To monitor the introduction of REACH, the EC regulation on chemicals and their safe use. (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances). The law came into force on 1st June 2007. |
